Today, Gujarat Chief Minster, Anandiben Patel inaugurated 9th edition of International Plastics Exhibition and Conference ‘Plast India 2015’ in Gandhinagar.
While speaking on the ocassion CM said that Plastic industry has proved to be a unique sector for India, playing a vital role in our country’s economy and overall development. On grounds of skilled manpower, India can become International Plastic Hub with mantras of ‘Low-cost,Hi-quality product’ with ‘Zero effect-zero defect’.She updated that with 6500 plastic businesses investing Rs 2400 crore in Gujarat, the state contributes nearly 65% to total output of Plastic Industry in India.To further realize our potential, Gujarat Government has identified Plastic as a ‘Focus Sector’ in recently announced Industrial Policy.
