Today, on the occasion of Raksha Bandhan, Rakhi festitval Gujarat Chief Minister Anandiben Patel ties Rakhi to Governor of Gujarat, Om Prakash Kohli in Gandinagar. Aanndiben Patel gave message on pious hindu festival. Rakhi program was doen with physically disabled persons also.
Speaking on the occasion, Anandiben Patel encouraged announcement to sports activities and admitted that image of Gujarat has changed from ”Dal Bhat eaters” to a global sports personalities. She announced cash award to Lajja Goswami and various sports awards were announced by her.
