Today evening at 6:30 pm, Anandiben Patel Gujarat Chief Minister launches a week long Kankaria Carnival in Ahmedabad. CM Anandiben declared this event as open to all and gave occasional speeech. Today, Carnival started on former PM Atal Bihari Vajpayee’s 90th birthday.
Kankaria lake is illuminated with lots of LED lights and decorations. There are special shows lights and sound effects, Fire works and crackers There is a huge crowd of visitors to kankaria lake and this opening ceremony. At Kankaria lake there are many visitor attractions of Paragliding, Zorbing and mini Train which can be enjoyed by children and adults too. There are many food parlours and ice cream counters which are enough to make Kanakaria enjoyment a complete package for every family. Carnival will be open from December 25 to 31, 2014.
