Anandiben Patel attended Sabar Dairy Golden Jubilee celebrations in Sabarkantha, Himmatnagar.Gujarat Chief Minister Anandiben Patel attended Sabar Dairy Golden Jubilee celebrations in Sabarkantha, Himmatnagar, today. In her address, she appreciated the efforts made by Sabar Dairy in serving the people and empowering the farmers since its inception in 1964. CM Anandiben also lauded the contribution of Sabar Dairy in ‘Doodh Sanjivani Yojana’, under which primary school students of Vijaynagar Taluka are distributed free milk tetra packs of 200 ml every day. She said that eradication of malnutrition from the state should be the utmost priority of the people.
While addressing the people, CM Anandiben shared details of various initiatives launched by her at Khedbrahma earlier today. She said that initiatives like ‘e-shikshak’ (android app that connects 500 teachers) and ‘Digital Setu’ (wifi connectivity to 32 villages of Khedbrahma) are in the direction to modernize and digitalize Gujarat with latest technology and in turn, obtain desired results in the benefit of the people.
Appreciating the involvement of today’s women in various fields, CM Smt. Patel said that government initiative to provide ‘Milking Machines’ to women to facilitate milking cattle is a move to encourage more women in cattle rearing. She also appealed the people to work towards the target of building 100% in-house toilet facility in the state.
In her address, CM Anandiben appealed the people to take benefits of various government schemes like Amrutam maa Yojana and Jan Dhan Yojana.
