Today, district collector of Anand has passed an order banning Kite Flying in the district between 6 to 8 in the morning and 5 to 7 in the evening. This precautionary action is taken to prevent birds getting cut by thread during Kite Festival in Gujarat. It is a step taken for the safety of birds.
