Amid fear and severity of Omicron variant in Ahmedabad of Gujarat there is resentment over removal of 1104 contract medical and para medical staff.
In Ahmedabad city protest in Civil Hospital by medical and para medical staff has been made. Dismissed staff include 218 Nurses, 4 Super Specialist Doctors, 38 Medical Officers, 109 Para medical staff and 490 Cleaning staff.
In Sola Civil Hospital 5 doctor of Class 1 category, 50 doctors of class 2 category, 10 operators, 6 Pharmacists, 6 Technicians , 3 Ambulance Driver and 70 Cleaning staff total 150 to 200 Contractual medical and para medical staff has been removed by management.
It is learnt that there is 100 posts vacant for doctors and 108 Contractual medical and para medical staff has been removed in Junagadh.
