Bollywood actress Ameesha Patel is in a legal trap. Producer Ajay Singh , is ready to release his film ‘Family of Thakurganj’ that features Jimmy Shergil and Mahi Gill has filed a fraud case against the actress for not returning his borrowed money on time.
Reportedly, the filmmaker has now moved to the Ranchi court in Bihar against Ameesha and her business partner Kuunal Groomer accusing the actress of cheating. Ajay Singh blamed that Ameesha Patel and her partner took Rs 2.50 crores from him to invest in their production house’ first film ‘Desi Magic’ and they had promised to return the money in a few months along with the interest and release profit. Accordingly, they gave him a cheque of Rs. 3 Crores but it bounced. When the producer went to ask for the money, Ameesha’s partner showed him the actresses pictures with some influential people.
