Today AMC Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation presented Rs 9,685 crores of Budget for fiscal year 2020-21. Rs 777 crores of escalation was presented in previous budget of Rs 8,907 crores. Escalation of Rs 777 crores comprise of Rs 333 crores of Revenue Expense and Rs 443 crores of developmental expense.
The Budget was presented by AMC Commissioner Vijay Nehra. AMC Standing Committee Chairman Amul Bhatt and Municipal Councillors attended the Budget Meeting.
Vehicle Tax worth Rs 16 crores was approved whereas Property tax worth Rs 228 was disapproved in the meeting. Draft Budget was prepared by Ahmedabad Mayor Bijal Patel and 5 other councillors said chairman Bhatt.
