Today in Ahmedabad , a review meeting of AMC Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation was held in which AMC office bearers, Standing Committee Members and city Mayor were present.
Normally AMC Budget for current financial year is presented in January or February.
A press conference was held by AMC, The AMC Standing Committee Chairman Devang Dani briefed the conference. Dani said that total 65 developmental works, long term and short term, were taken up by AMC out of which 12 works have been completed and 46 works are under progress. They will be completed in 1 to 2 years. Status review of each of the developmental work including Lotus House , Urban House and installation of 3000 CCTV cameras across the city was carried out. Developmental works comprising of basic amenities including sewage, water,road and cleanliness were addressed. He updated that Rs 2863 crores were spent out of allotted Budget to AMC for the current financial year.
