Telugu star Allu Arjun has been arrested by the police in connection with a stampede at the premiere of movie Pushpa 2: The Rule at Sandhya theatre in Hyderabad on December 4. In the stampede at theatre one 39-years-old M Revathi died and her son became critical. On Friday, the actor was arrested from his residence in Hyderabad and was taken to the Chikkadapalli police station.
Actor Allu Arjun remanded to 14 days judicial custody. He will be taken to Chanchalguda prison.
