Director Homi Adajania is all set to bring in another fresh onscreen pair to the table. It’s said that the ‘Highway’ actress Alia Bhatt can be soon seen sharing screen space with ‘Kai Po Che’ actor Sushant Singh Rajput in his next film. After gifting the industry with an earnest film like Finding Fanny, Homi has already moved on to his next project, which is supposedly to be a love story spanning across generations. So, one would see the young actors playing the perfect lovers set in two different eras. An unusual casting coup of sorts, it will be nice to see how Alia and Sushant’s chemistry bring the amount of freshness on screen.
The film is said to be Homi Adajania and Dinesh Vijan’s biggest movie in terms of budget. Reportedly a team of experts from Hollywood has been roped in to handle the make-up, special effects and a few other departments. Likely to go on the floors mid-next year, the pre-production work of the movie has already started. The official announcement of the same is likely to be made soon.Sushant is currently busy with the post production of his upcoming releases ‘PK’, where he plays an important role alongside Aamir Khan, Sanjay Dutt and Anushka Sharma and ‘Detective Byomkesh Bakshy’. He is also working for the Mahendra Singh Dhoni biopic and shooting for Shekhar Kapur’s ‘Paani’. On the other hand, Alia just finished her shooting schedule with Shahid Kapoor for her next, titled Shaandar.
