In Ahmedabad district, due to drop in the price of tomatoes after demonetization by government, angry farmers throw away tomatoes in Sanand. Tomatoes were found lying on the roads crushed under the vehicles and eaten by cattle were seen.
Today, in an accident between bus and a container on Mumbai Goa Highway. Accident took place while going from Goa to Lonawala. Bus was from Kesavi Tour and Travels of Rajkot, Gujarat. 4 persons killed including driver and conductor of the bus. 28 injured including 2 seriously injured . 20 couples were onboad.
