Today in Ahmedabad, minister Venkaiah Naidu Union Minister of Urban Development handed over a cheque for Rs 290 crores to Gujarat government on behalf of central government for Swatchhta Abhiyan. Also present was MP Kirit Solanki.

Gujarat becomes open defecation free State in urban areas.

Giving SBM certificates to Ahmedabad and 10 other municipal corporations. Ahmedabad Mayor Gautam Shah accepted the certificate.
