Today in Ahmedabad, two convicts Ibrahim Abdul Razak Satta life imprisonment convict and capital imprisonment convict Shiraj Meda in 2002 Godhra riots case had applied for interim bail on the ground of marriage in the family.

However, Gujarat High Court rejected the plea saying that ground not sufficient for bail.
