Today in Ahmedabad, SOG Special Operations Group seized 14 kilogram of brown sugar and arrested 2 persons in connection with drugs at Vataman Cross Road. Based on a clue to Ahmedabad Rural SOG that drugs will be transported from Surat to Saurashtra, stock of 14 kilogram drugs was recovered from Jivraj Baraiya and his brother-in-law Jayaben Makwana, a car and a mobile were found costing Rs 5 lakhs.
As per information to police, stockof drugs was purchased near Surat Railway Station and was to be sold at Dhasa in wholsesale. Accused were saling drugs at Bhavnagar Botad and Amreli, had sold drugs 3 more times before this deal. Drugs were sold at double the price of purchase. Koth police is investigating the matter.
