Ahmedabad: Sarkhej PI, women ASI and 2 AMC staff booked for death of Makarba Plot Owner

Today in Ahmedabad , in the death case of Makarba Plot Owner Govind Chunara 4 persons including Sarkhej PI Police Inspector Ramani, woman ASI Assistant Sub Inspector and 2 Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation employees have been booked by Crime Branch.

4 persons including Sarkhej PI Ramani and woman ASI illegally called Makarba Plot Owner and gave him threat on nexus with a builder. Owner was illegally detained and kept behind bars due to which he died.

Case under IPC section 452, 342 and 506 have been lodged against accused.

Son of Plot Owner Govind Chunara has filed a complaint in Ahmedabad Crime Branch naming all 4 persons indulged in the death of his father. He has given statement to Crime Branch authorities.

All 4 accused being government employees, Crime Branch team investigating the case will consult top officials on how to arrest accused and take action against them in the death case.
