Today after holding massive Patidar Rally in Ahmedabad and Gujarat CM Anandiben Patel rejecting 24 hrs ultimatum of HardikPatidar.
Police has been reported to have detained Patidar leader Hardik Patel and 6 others protestors at GMDC ground. There is a chaos as where exactly Hardik has been taken whether to Commissioner Office, Vastrapur Police Station or Crime Branch (as per sources). Incident of lathicharge by Police on public and media was reported. Two media persons including a Cameraman of TV channel have been reported to be beaten by Police and have been admitted to hospital. Camera of news channels have been broken. When Police lathicharged at that time lights of GMDC ground were turned off. Police damaged nearly 50 cars by breaking their glasses and spoiling 1000 two wheelers and found desperate to vacate GMDC premises. Due to Police pressure chaotic atmosphere was created near GMDC ground. Actually some Patidars who had come for the first time to Ahmedabad and had no place to go except and they were totally new to the place.
Police says time limit for Sabha was over by 6 pm. Hardik was detained as per section 151. Police is ready to release him on bail, on which Patidars say that since you have taken him, so you only bring him back. Hardik will be questioned and will be released if his intentions does not disrupt harmony of the state.
