Ahmedabad Police Commissioner’s strict guideline in rape cases

As per Ministry of Law and Justice of Government of India stern actions would be taken in cases of rape, harassment and kidnapping. As per amended law, new provisions have been added in case of rape on a girl or pregnant lady or by government officials. AK Singh Police Commissioner of Ahmedabad has published a guideline in case rape, exploitation and harassment with respect to sexual harassment case of 2016 in Chandkheda area.

As per amended by Ministry of Law and Justice of Government of India and notifications sent to all police stations strict actions have to be taken. Understanding on new provisions to IPC section 376 (2), clause a to m were given to police officers cases of A) when accused is police officer, B) when accused is state official , C) when accused is a member of armed force of state or central government, D) when rape by fellow girl in Jail or Remand Home, E) when hospital staff rapes a girl F) when rape by relative or acquainted person, G) rape during communal violence, H) rape on pregnant lady, I) rape on a minor girl J) rape on a girl who cannot give consent K) rape by leading or influential person L) rape on mentally or physically weak girl, M) endangering life of victim while rape and N) victim of multiple rape could be charged under new amended provisions. In case of gangrape by more than 2 accused charges under 376 (D) could be framed.
