On Wednesday in Ahmedabad, One person died of swine flu raising the death toll to five. One person died of swine flu was resident of Sabarmati.Nine more people also tested positive across the state including six from Ahmedabad from Satellite, Shahibaug, Hirawadi, Sola and Nikol areas.
On Tuesday, the AMC health authorities informed that four persons had died of swine flu in Ahmedabad between January 25 and January 27. In Ahmedabad, on Tuesday, swine flu claimed two persons, one from Chandkheda and another a man from Vasna. On Monday, a woman from Juhapura succumbed to the disease. Earlier, one individual from Ranip had expired on January 24.
