In Ahmedabad, Naroda area residents suffer from serious diseases due to contaminated water.
In Naroda, at Chamunda Ni Chali, Navi Chali and in Ambedkarnagar the problem of water prevails for past 6 months.
Somewhere in the area, adequate water is not supplied or somewhere there is a contaminated putrifying water coming from gutter which is used for drinking.
Disease like Cholera and Malaria menace prevails in Naroda and nearby society.
Pipeline of drinking water and gutter lines have got merged as per local residents. Also, water of overflowing gutters enter in their houses.
Complaint by residents have not been heard by authorities. Since it is the area populated by poor people, their complaints are not attended blamed residents.
Drinking water has to purchased from market or else bring from the bore of Railway.
Ahmedabad Mayor Gautam Shah is unaware of the situation and says that it happens as road repair work in the area is going on. Shah assures to do the needful.
