In Ahmedabad, in a hit and run case in Naranpura area, relatives of two persons killed protest with deadbody lying on road.
Yesterday night at 1:30 pm in Shastrinagar one rushing white colored i10 car with RTO number GJ 1 KP 4053 rammed into a hut of Bhagabhai Marwadi (age 40) and wife Laxmiben Marwadi (age 35). Both the labourers were killed on the spot. His household was also damaged and 6 other persons sleeping there were injured in the accident.
Naranpura police has lodged complaint against Nirav Kirtilal Shah and arrested him.
As per police Nirav was feeling sleepy so he lost his control over his car wich ran over 2 persons on road. 108 Ambulance was called after the accident. Police rushed the site and injured were shifted to the hospital. 6 injured were Valabhai Hirabhai, Chaman Dalabhai, Savji Manabhai, Malabhai Hirabhai, Lilaben Hirabhai and Sangita (age 7 ).
People gathered at the site by ruckus over relatives of victim family. They are demanding justice for the victims. Sufficient compensation to the 3 daughters of victims to be given.
Dead body was lying unclaimed for an hour on the road.
Victims were staying near Gujarat Housing Board apartments.
Lot of AAP Aam Aadmi Party workers were at the site. Police was trying to control the mob.
No AMC Ahmedabad Municipal commissioner Officers were at site.
