On Thursday in Hatkeshwar area of Ahmedabad, class 2 was molested by a minor boy staying in her neighbourhood. As per Police, the 16-year-old accused is a class 10 student of a local school. Khokhra police has booked a complaint against the accused under section 354 of the IPC. “We have not arrested the accused as he too is minor,” said Khokhra police.
On Wednesday, her daughter said that the boy living next door took her to his house on July 3 between 9 am to 10 am and molested her.
Police sources said they had even told the girl to tell anyone about the incident.
“The victim’s mother then told her husband about the incident and then they approached us to lodge a complaint,” said inspector of Khokhra police station.
