Gujarat Chief Minister Anandiben Patel and Union Urban Development Minister Venkaiah Naidu will lay stone for much awaited Ahmedabad Metro Rail Project phase one on March 14. The first work order of Ahmedabad Metro rail project was awarded on 31 January 2015 with allocation of Rs. 278 crores involving Vastral-Apparel park (Khokhara) stretch of 6 km in Metro rail project. It is a part of intercity Rail connectivity between Vatral and Thaltej village in East West direction. This is PM Narendra Modi’s vision by Gujarat government on Metrolink Express between Gandhinagar and Ahmedabad.
