In Ahmedabad: Mahesh Shah after declaration of Rs.13,860 crores as Black Money in IDS before September 30 is in lime light. AMC Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation owes Rs. 28,797 from Shah and he has been recorded in AMC as a tax defaulter for non payment of Property Tax for 2 years and professional tax for 7 years.
In 2005 also, one Rajkot based businessman had given Rs 10 lakhs which was defaulted by Shah. Businessman had to court to get his money back.
