In Ahmedabad. Kankaria Carnival 7 day long celebration starts at Kankaria lake from today. The Carnival is fun filled program of cultural events, folk songs, illumination along Kankaria lake and added attraction of Laser shows to attract thousands of visitors from Ahmedabad, Gujarat and India. Many english medium and convent schools have christmas vacations, so children and parents can freely enjoy the festival in relaxed mood. AMC, Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation has alloted fund of Rs 3.5 crores for 7 day long Kankaria Carnival. This time, it would be 8th Kankaria Carnival. To attract more visitors during Carnival this time entry fee and parking fee has been abolished.
