Today in Ahmedabad, as an effect of atrocities on Dalits in Una, protest and bandh of Gujarat had a mixed reaction. In Chadlodia area, Dalit women protested with steel plates and rolling pins. In Girdharnagar area, Bridge was closed. Near Hatkeshwar, glass of milk van was broken. In Saijpur Bogha area, incident of road blocking and stopping of BRTS vehicles. Driver of AMTS route no 138 was beaten by mob. 125 AMTS buses were diverted and 28 routes were curtailed. Dani Limda and Behrampura remained totally closed. In Bapunagar, old vadaj shops and buses were closed by mob. In Sher Kotda, tyres burnt outside D Staff office. In Chandkehda after rally people set outside on the roads. Sweepers joined the bandh call and kept away from work.
AMTS buses to Chandkheda have been diverted.
In Juhapura area also Dalits protested Una atrocities incident.
