In Ahmedabad, KVIC Khadi and Village Industries Commission for the first time in 60 years, takes three important decides in a historic meeting held at Gandhi Ashram today.
KVIC decides to increase wage for artisans from Rs 5.50 per hank to Rs 7. More than 3.5 lakh artisans will be benefited out of Khadi prepared by imprisoners and sold at Khadi stores.
