Around November and December till start of Uttarayan parents readies up for engagement and marriage ceremony. People from Hindu community believe in auspicious Muhurats barring a few community get their wards married irrespective of waiting for Muhurats. Some Parents insists on matching Horoscope of bride and groom and some modern parents relax the criteria.
On Thursday, SBPT Samast Brahm Parivar Trust announced a High-tech matrimonial event. They claimed to have used a means of high-tech wedding for prospective brides and grooms. Trustees briefed about major highlights of the program announced an event date to be on 13th November at Bhagwat Vidhyapith.
In the matrimonial event about 5000 candidates will participate from all over the India and to selecting suitable life partners for them. Many of them are from foreign countries like Australia, USA, Dubai and Hong Kong. A Mobile based App has been developed which facilitates candidates to short list 7 candidates for them and WhatsApp Alert is generated too. Use of modern communication techniques help to avoid communication gap between the candidates. 1800 brides have registered for the matrimonial event. More than 20,000 Braham priests will bless the brides and grooms. They have been conducting such matrimonial events successfully for past 15 years or more. SBPT is involved in charitable activities like distribution of notebooks, Beti Bachao and Beti Padhao programmers’, service to senior citizens and many more.
