The flavors and aroma of the hills and shores of Italy have wafted into Ahmedabad. To give the city a taste of the Mediterranean coastline, Momo Café at Courtyard by Marriott, Ahmedabad has introduced limited edition “Eatalian” available from July 18 to 31, 2016. This offers signature Italian dishes to satiate the taste buds. Be it an assortment of antipasti, fresh in-house pasta in wonder sauces, refreshing herbs sprinkled over vegetarian and non-vegetarian fare or sinful desserts, food heaven is here.
Antipasto, served before meal, comprises multiple cheese variants, cured meats, mushrooms, tossed vegetables among others. Fresh made pastas like fettuccine, pappardelle, ravioli, gnocchi and agnolotti highlight the simplicity of Italian cuisine with regional variations in flavor coming through.
This is not the first time. The prime hospitality property has been a gamechanger in the industry, introducing the city to cuisines across the world. It has touched the diversity of Indian palate with regional food fests being a consistent feature at Courtyard by Marriott.
“The globetrotting Ahmedabadis have always appreciated and enjoyed the regional food festivals that have been hosted at Courtyard by Marriott. Valuing the enthusiasm of these food lovers, this time we decided to give them the authentic taste of Italian cuisines. Chef Aniruddha Limaye has whipped up his signature dishes for the Eatalian festival. Courtyard by Marriott has vowed to delight Ahmedabad with an experience on the platter every time our loyalists visit our property. Their faith in us has been kept intact so far. The response on the very first day of ‘Eatalian’ has been overwhelming,” said Gaurav Apte, General Manager, Courtyard by Marriott, Ahmedabad.
On the menu, Cozze gratinate, Crostata di spinaci, a crafted spinach tart, Crostini di fagioli e rosmarina or white beans and rosemary crostini are surely a potent mix to tickle senses. The yummy Tiramisu, Panna cotta and mascarpone and dark chocolate cream in white chocolate cups is an indulgence worth a try.
