This time, audience can enjoy seven exhibitions, three book launches and two workshops. Vivek Desai said, “Last year’s photo festival was only for Gujarat. So, we thought why not bring in photography talent from various places of India. So we declared an all-India contest a few months ago and gave participants the theme of `change’. Photographers from various places like Kolkata, Bangalore, Chennai, et al, presented their works, of which we chose the best ones to be showcased here.”
The festival opens on Thursday and continues till April 3 at Navajivan Trust Campus behind Gujarat Vidyapith. Some of the artistes whose works will be displayed include Kishor Parekh, Jyoti Bhatt, Vicky Roy, Fawzan Husain, etc.
