On Tuesday in Ahmedabad, Gujarat High Court stayed re-appointment of Samarjitsinh Gaekwad as president of BCA Baroda Cricket Association.
Chirayu Amin had filed a petition challenging Gaekkwad’s reinstatement by Vadodara Charity Commissioner after his removal by the BCA’s managing committee.
Justice AS Supehia stayed Gaekwad’s re-appointment and served notices to him and the Charity Commissioner.
Next hearing will be held on January 10.
