Today in Ahmedabad, Ghatlodia residents expressed anger as Mamlatdar, Ahmedabad civic authorities issued notices and prepared for demolition of 42 units of 19 societies of Ghatlodiya. An order that has driven fear into residents and seeking government help.
Residents say we are staying hear from 1984, we have never received any notice or they have not demanded for any document and now all of sudden issuing us to vacate the place is not correct approach.
Ghatlodia is Gujarat CM’s electoral constituency. Residents of Ghatlodia, Thaltej and Shilaj have been issued.
However, Mamlatdar says that it was a fellow land on which illegal construction has been done for which demolition notice is issued.
