Ahmedabad is gearing up to celebrate Sabarmati Festival a 4 day long celebration at Event Center, Paldi, Sabarmati Riverfront starting from Jan 6 to 10, 2016.
Festival will be spread across more than 15 venues across the city.
More than 20 pre events are planned.
Close to 300 institutes shall take part in competitions.
Around 150 programs of Dance are orgnised.
Almost 400 street plays will be performed as part of the festival, to create constructive engagement with the youth.
Cultural activities spread across 14 segments is organised.
A never-before celebration to experience the Sabarmati Riverfront.
30 Workshops shall take place where citizens can learn and expand their horizons.
First time ever Contemporary Art will be showcased at public venues with such vigour.
Competitions across a dozen categories to channelize the creative energies of youth.
To make this gesture of gratitude, and to acknowledge, remember and honour the contributions of citizens from various social quarters a grand Award Ceremony is held.
Many artists of local and international repute shall be performing during the festival.
