Today in Ahmedabad at GMDC ground, at Vacation 2015 Fun Fair, one Octopus ride was broken with one car coming out due to overloading. 3 persons of a family met with minor injuries. They have been taken to Sterling hospital. The ride has been suspended. Police rushed at the site and investigate in the matter. Police has filed FIR against Ride show owner. As per sources owner is a Haryana based person. Organisers had fleed the site. For past three years this fun fair is arranged during Summer vacation. Rules for public safety for such rides are meant but whether they have been followed or not is a question to authorities who give permission for such fair. Visior present at the site said that there was no ambulance, no fire brigade for public safety.
Due to school vacation and Sunday there was a huge rush but somehow major mishap has been averted.
