Today, after a massive rally of Patidar community in Ahmedabad city at GMDC ground where in 18 lakh Patidars from Gujarat took part.
Since today afternoon incidents of damaging shops in Vastrapur area, forcefully closing shops in Ranip, incidents of strone throwing at Nava Vadaj, Chandlodiya and CTM. 13 tear gas shells were bursted at CTM. Sola Police Chowky, Helmet Cross Road and Nikole has been set on fire. People were seen moving out with weapons were reported. Two AMTS buses near Sola and Hatkeshwar have been burnt. Fire Brigade team near Bhuyangdev Cross road has been attacked.
Stone throwing on Police Jeep in Naroda and at Rabari Colony. Of late it is learnt that Ahmedabad Collector has called for a meeting with Police Officials to assess the situation in city.
