Ahmedabad: Dalit’s Public Meeting for their sustenance at Amraiwadi

Today in Ahmedabad, Una Dalit Atyachar Ladat Samiti and Dalit Adhikar Manch DAM has jointly called for a Public Meeting for their sustenance at Amraiwadi from 4 to 8 pm. Jignesh Mevani to address the meeting.

Dalits have placed 5 point agenda with

1. Demand for 5 acre land to every Dalit
2. To clear backlog of more than 50,000 jobs
3. To Form Reservation Act in Gujarat
4. Abolition of Contract System and in turn providing of permanent
5. Presently only 10 % Dalits are protesting, what if more Dalits join the campaign
