In Ahmedabad, bungalow number 15 at Shahibaugh underpass will be converted into Cyber Cell of Ahmedabad Crime Branch. Post arrest of retired IPS DG Vanzara the then SP, crime branch the bungalow mostly laying vacant with occasional visits of crime branch officials.The cyber cell will be functional at this bungalow from Monday.Deputy commissioner of police, crime branch said assistant commissioner of police, cyber and his staff of 40 officials and police personnel will be sitting in the new office. Necessary infrastructure needed for functioning of the cyber cell has been established in the new premises. Offices of deputy commissioner of crime branch and joint commissioner of crime branch (CP) and (JCP), crime branch will be functional at the bungalow apart from the offices at crime branch head quarters at Gaekwad Haveli”.
