Today in Ahmedabad, on Sunday 31st July from 11:00 hrs, a Dalit Mahasammelan has been organized by Una Dalit Atyachar Ladat Samiti at Acher AMTS Bus Depot campus.
Many Dalist have come to Mahasammelan site from different parts of Gujarat.
Preseident Jignesh Mewani addressed Mahasammelan and posed questions to Gujarat Government and placed demands of Dalits. Jignesh demanded justice to them.
Today in Ahmedabad scenes of communal harmony between Hindu and Muslim Dalits were seen as Muslim Dalits were invited to stage and extended their support to Dalits of Gujarat.
Slogans of Jay Bhim and Inqalab Zindabad were shouted. There is tight police security at the spot. CCTV surveillance is made of the sammelan. Family of Thangadh Dalits at the site. Muslims join the sammelan in big number.
Jayanti Makadiya also addressed the Sammelan and demand for arrest of 31 Dalits.
At Sammelan vow taken not to lift dead animal by Dalits.
