~Cancer Survivors launch the third season of sharing stories to spread hope and inspiration~

Celebrated the spirit of cancer survivors. Pink Hope Cancer Patient Support Group along with HCG – The Specialist in Cancer Care launched the third edition of Self V Survivor Stories.
Self V Survivor Stories is a unique platform, a one-of-a-kind celebration for cancer survivors to celebrate the spirit of overcoming cancer. To participate in the campaign, cancer survivors would need to take a self-video of up to 60 seconds duration, capturing the story of their struggle and conquest over cancer. By uploading it on facebook.com/selfv or on www.selfv.in, these stories become an ideal encouragement of hope for many patients fighting cancer and break the stigma attached to the disease. These videos will be judged by an external jury and the best ones will be selected for the grand finale of Self V 2016.
The contest will continue till November and the select Self V videos will not only make it to the grand finale in December but also win awards ranging from Ducati Scrambler Bike, International and National holiday package from Aster, LED TV from Samsung and other exciting merchandises like designer clothes from Fervour as well.
Cancer is a complex disease and it needs a multidisciplinary approach to treat it. When outcomes through a focused treatment modality is achieved, there would be more survivors and I am happy to note today that survivors are coming and talking about their journey in the battle against cancer and how they have overcome it. Self V Survivor Stories is a great initiative to provide a ray of hope to people out there, who are being diagnosed and battling cancer.

If more survivors speak about the disease, it instills confidence in thousands of cancer patients, that there is a life after cancer and it can be managed.”
