In Ahmedabad, incident of fraud of Rs 20 lakhs by travel company Izabel Tours and Travels has been exposed.A tour package for Singapore, Thailand, and Malaysia by Izabel Travels was fixed was fixed at Rs 1.19 lakh per adult and Rs 85,000 per child. The package included family visas, airline tickets, and hotel accommodation. As an advance of Rs 50,000 was paid on November 29. The businessman was asked to pay the full amount the next day for confirmation of visas, hotel stay, and airline tickets.
Dhruti Pooch travel agent’s office and confirmed the tour package. Though businessman paid amount three days later, Dhruti demanded more moneyand earlier paid money was lost in dollar conversion and demanded Rs 4 lakh more for the package. When the men demanded their money back, Dhruti and her colleague Vipul behaved rudely and refused to pay back. A police complaint was made against Travel company and Dhruti was arrested by police by Satellite police.
It is also learnt that Dhruti gave life threats to businessman when they demanded money back, as per source.
