Ahmedabad : Building collapse in Odhav; 7 feared trapped

Today evening in Odhav area, part of 4 storey Government colony collapsed tonight.  AFES Ahmedabad Fire and Emergency Services  reached the spot and started rescue operations. 7 people are feared trapped beneath the debris.

Gujarat CM orders to send a team of National Disaster Response Force (NDRF) from Gandhinagar for rescue operation.

Teams of  AMC Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation, state government, National Disaster Response Force and fire brigade are carrying out rescue operations. 5 NDRF teams are deployed. Reqd. machinery will be deployed immediately said Minister Pradipsinh Jadeja.
