SKF India announced the team for Gothia Cup 2016 including 6 children from SKF’s program held in Ahmedabad. Six underprivileged kids, all from AMC-run schools will fly to Sweden to participate in an international football tournament. Girls from Ahmedabad will make their debut in Gothia Cup 2016.
The six children- Karina Bhatti, Jalpa Parmar, Aruna Chauhan and Sunita Raval (all from Thaltej school) along with Rohan Thakor and Rohan Solanki – (both from Jodhpur school) are all set to board a flight to Gothenburg, Sweden where they will compete in Gothia Cup (July 17-23).
The six kids underwent a three-week training session at Pune last month. 80 countries are expected to send their teams to participate in the event. 4,500 matches will be played during the week-long competition in Gothenburg.
