Today in Ahmedabad, case of acid attack by husband on her wife has come up. Husband Irshad Shaikh and his aide threw acid on his wife Ulifabanu. Riverfront East police has lodged complaint against accused and started investigation. 21 years of wife Ulifabanu is resident of Behrampura. She has been admitted to VS Hospital.
She got married with Irshad sheikh of Dariapur a year back. She had complained about torture from in-laws and had gone to her parents.
On Thursday afternoon, when she was passing from Sabarmati Riverfront Irshad on bike stopped her and attacked her using acid. She was badly attacked on her left hand and leg. In 108 ambulance she was taken to VS Hospital.
