Ahead of Diwali, Ahmedabad raids city sweet shops
As Diwali is approaching, Health department of AMC Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation raids at Sweet shops and manufacturing units in Naroda of Ahmedabad. In Nehrunagar, team conducted check at Bikanerwala and Sahyog sweets in Navrangpura.
In public interest, 4 teams of AMC are collecting samples of raw material and ingredients used in sweets preparation are checked to ensure sweets of acceptable quality. Particularly sweets with silver coating is checked more rigorously.
For last 10 days, checking by AMC team is going at various sweet shops in the city. It is also ensured to have early reports on the samples collected by the team.
