The shooting of Director Abhishek Kapoor’s next film Fitoor has begun in Kashmir and here is the first look from the sets featuring the film’s leading man Aditya Roy Kapur. Coincidentally, the first day of the shoot was also Aditya Roy Kapur’s birthday and Director Abhishek Kapoor considers it auspicious for the movie.
Director Abhishek Kapoor Tweeted:
“We’re rolling 🙂 1st day of #fitoor, off to a good start.. And a v happy birthday to my leading man, #AdityaRoyKapur (sic)”
Fitoor is the Indian adaptation of Charles Dickens’ novel Great Expectations. The novel has been made into a film in Hollywood, but this is the first time any Bollywood filmmaker is attempting to make a film on it. Fitoor stars Katrina Kaif as the female lead opposite Aditya Roy Kapur. Rekha plays the character modeled on Miss Havisham from the novel. Katrina Kaif and Rekha will join the shoot shortly.
