ABVP, NSUI workers protest at Cancellation of Senate & Welfare Elections
In Ahmedabad, NSUI Workers protested at Gujarat University to Cancel Senate & Welfare Elections.
Both ABVP and NSUI workers reached Gujarat University and staged protest against cancellation of Senate & Welfare Elections which was to be held on 26th March.
They shouted slogans and turned up in big number. Workers had a clash with police deployed at the site.
Both ABVP and NSUI were trying to put blame on each other for cancellation of elections.
Gate of Gujarat University campus were closed.
NSUI workers protested by removing their shirts by not allowing them to enter office of University Vice Chancellor.
Also, Gujarat University VC has stated that staff is reluctant to hold the elections.
