During Olympic Commonwealth Games 2014 at Glasglow, Abhinav Bindra won the Gold medal in Men’s 10-m Air Rifle event . Abhinav shot 205.3 points to win the Gold medal. This was Abhinav ’s first individual Gold medal in Commonwealth Games. Earlier he won Gold medal in the pairs at Manchester (2002), Melbourne (2006) and Delhi (2010). So far, Abhinav had only won Silver medal in the 2010 Delhi Commonwealth Games in individual category.
In the Women’s 10-m Air Pistol event, India won its first medal of shooting in the 2014 Games.
