Today, Bollywood’s perfectionist Aamir Khan and Anushaka Sharma visits Ahmedabad for PK promotion. Film makers Raju Hirani – Vidhu Vinod Chopra, Writer Abhijat Joshi were in the promotion team at Ahmedabad. Aamir interacted with media on PK promotion.
Aamir very nicely talked and franly shared his experience about his career. Aamir used to workin Gujarati theatre during College days, when he was in 11th-12th class. . Aamir said he started his career with Gujarati theatre and doing a musical play Khailiya run by Mahendra Joshi. I did Gujarati backstage for 1.5 years by doing Chay Lana, Istri Kanra, jadu Bhadu Lagana., with a hope that one day I will get break. That all were working together, Vipul Shah, Makrand Deshpande and Deven Bhojani.
One day it happened that Deven doing important role could not come and Mahendrabhai told someone to prepare me in just 4 days. Gujarati was not my language and I have to be ready in just 4 days. Aamir gave audition for Inter College play but was not selected. I was knowing that I will not be selected in solo role, so I tried in Chorus where in group I will get chance and it happened like that. I was the only guy who had just one dialogue in Gujarati, Aamir looked up and said the Dialogue to media “Aapan Ne To Koi Paintu Nathi, Eni Maa Ne Kutro Paine” and lightly shared on his career and made media and fans laughed.
Rest we all know what milestones Aamir has achieved.
