Budget Session of Gujarat Legislative Assembly from 1st February said minister Rushikesh Patel

* On 2^nd February Finance Minister Kanu Desai will present budget in the Legislative Assembly

* Fourth session of fifteenth Gujarat Legislative Assembly will be held from 1^st February to 29^th February 2024

On 2nd February, In the Budget Session, Finance Minister Kanu Desai will present budget in the Legislative Assembly. Minister Patel said that, in the session, full budget will be presented in the Legislative Assembly. General discussion and demands on government bills and budget will also be discussed in the Assembly.

As per the Constitution, Gujarat Governor Acharya Devvrat will address the meeting of the Legislative Assembly on 1st February. After which a motion of thanks will be presented in the Assembly House regarding the Governor’s address. Budget for the year 2024-25 will be presented in the state Assembly on 2nd February.

This session being the budget session, there will be meetings for general discussion on the budget and discussion and voting on the demands. Budget presented in the Assembly House will be discussed in 26 sittings in the session will last for 24 days. ​
