Today,Supreme Court while sharply commenting on Clean Ganga action plan said, may not help even after 200 years . Apex Court directed center for a PowerPoint presentation on stagewise plan in 3 weeks to clean Ganga river project.
Supreme Court further commented on center that you should take steps in cleaning Ganga and preserving its glory so future generations can see it. We don’t know whether we will see it or not.
The judges found Centre’s affidavit on clean Ganga 2,500 km long river too bureaucratic and not for the layman.
